Mexico-born, New York City–based Monica Ruzansky has always drawn inspiration from personal connections. After her grandmother gifted her an amber necklace, Monica's perception of jewelry shifted to reflect the history and emotion such heirloom pieces possess. Pivoting from a photography career, Monica now works with precious materials to make her own treasured creations.
