It's a rock with a hole in it

It really is just a rock with a hole drilled in it. The hole is just big enough for a typical size house key. It might not fit a car key fob or key rings, carabiner etc. The nice thing about the rock is that it's an actual rock, so each one will look slightly different and they aren't as easy to spot as the plastic ones that are all identical. It's going to work fine for what it's intended to do.

Be sure that your key will fit into the opening

If I had Schlage locks on my home, this item would be perfect. Unfortunately, with the brand of locks that I have, the top of the keys are too wide to fit in the opening, so I won't be able to use the item.

Not your standard key rock

I hate how most key rocks look very obvious. It's either the size of the rock that gives it away, or the fact that it isn't even a real rock. This is NOT the case with this rock! This is a real rock, and it is a large size that you wouldn't really question in a garden. It also had beautiful coloring and speckling in it. A great product overall!

Great solution to a householder's perennial problem!

We have hidden a key in the back yard, among a small pile of rocks that easily incorporated the key hider. I really like the fact that it's a real rock, not a recognizable facsimile that announces itself!
