Could you confirm what the kit includes? I looks like the canvas, plastic to protect the surface you use, and paint. I can't tell what everything is from the picture.

9' x 12' plastic painters drop cloth to protect surfaces from paint splatters, 
3.5' x 4.5' specially treated white cotton canvas, 
4 oz bottle of specially-formulated non-toxic black paint, 
two pairs of disposable slippers, 
and a soft mesh body scrubber.

Two questions, 1. will it be problematic for me to travel with the canvas after painting on it if it so completely dry? Ie, can it be rolled back up and stretched at a later date ?
2. I saw a canvas that said "Love is Art" maybe something else as well? Are those available?

Accepted Answer

Because the canvas is not pre-stretched, the material will absorb the paint, so that when the canvas is stretched in order to be framed, your artwork will not be distorted. So it is okay to have it dry and stretched later. Only one type of art is avaiable.

Can you get the paint in different colors besides black?

I have skin allergies. What are the ingredients in the paint?

There are no preservatives and it consists of water-based non-toxic- pigment powder, some binding agent and emulsifier.

Question 6

If you buy the stretching kit, does it come with a canvas wood frame to frame it on? Or do I need to buy that and use the stretching kit with it? I'm just not sure how that part works.

It doesn't come with a frame but you can use the stretching kit to frame your art piece.

Question 7

If I order both the stretcher kit and the black paint kit, does it also come with the actual wood frame that the canvas will be stretched over or is that purchased separately?

Yes, the wood frame does come with the stretcher kit. If you buy both the paint kit and the stretcher kit, all you need to finish your work of art is a staple gun, ¼" staples, and wood glue.

Question 8

What is the difference between ordering the BLACK or the CANVAS STRETCHER?  There is an option to order either or and I am confused on which each product is.

The Black option is the actual Love is Art kit. After your masterpiece is complete, your canvas is ready to be stretched. This is where the canvas stretcher kit comes in.  You can use it to stretch your own canvas, rather than paying a professional to do what you can easily do yourself.

I DONT UNDERSTAND DO YOU PUT THE PAINT ON YOU THEN ROLE AROUND?

That's exactly right! Roll the paint on yourself (you and your partner can help one another with this step) and have fun on the canvas. The paint will transfer from your bodies to the canvas and create your own one-of-a-kind artwork.

What size is your stretcher bar kit set for?  What the measurement that work best?

The kit is intended to net a final canvas that is 54 x 41 inches. There are detailed instructions but you can always call us if you run into any problems or questions.
