A must have kitchen utensil

This is a really wonderful addition to our kitchen. Drains well and holds quite a few utensils. Doesn't take up a lot of space and we've had no issues with sliding. The one I received has more of a teal hue than the vivid greens pictured which I wasn't expecting, but I realize that pottery glaze is not always uniform so it's not a big deal to me. That is something to be aware of if color is a deal breaker for you.

I love this thing

No more water spots on my silverware! I'm going to get one for my daughter for Christmas as well (she doesn't have a dishwasher either). I always drain my dishes on a dishtowel & then toss them in the laundry (the dishrack takes up too much counterspace). Unfortunately, I would always lay my silverware down flat, and everything would dry with water spots. This is a great little item, takes up minimal space, and looks attractive on the side of the sink, so I don't put it away after the dishes are dry.

Great for limited counter space

We have very limited counter space and a small dish drainer that never holds enough silverware. Inevitably there is always too many utensils stuffed into the silverware drainer in such a way that nobody wants to attempt to put them away. My husband and I have tried for years to figure out a solution to the silverware dilemma that plagues our kitchen. Finally, a solution!

Beautiful and useful

Perfect for dishwashing brushes, it holds 5 different kinds of brushes and drains the excess water back into the sink. I love the color and the craftsmanship.

I would definitely buy this again!

This is a well made spoon. The wood is slick and is beautiful to look at. Having the notch on the side makes it so easy to hang the spoon on the pan so there is no drippy mess.

I'm confused by the dimensions. Is it 6" tall and 5" diameter? Is the diameter measured at the base, which is wider? Does anyone know the diameter at the top, where the utensils go?

The diameter at the top is 4"! The overall dimensions are 6" L x 5" W x 5" H.

From the pic the caddy looks green. Is that correct? I could use brown tones or blue or even purple but not green so thought I better ask before buying.

You are correct, the artist uses predominantly green earthy tones for this caddy.

Thank you for your question! At this time the Utensil Draining Caddy only comes in once color but the artist is may expand upon the colors available in the future.

can you take it apart, if you need to clean it once in awhile?

Thank you for your question! The Utensil Draining Caddy is a molded piece of stoneware so it cannot be taken apart but it can still be cleaned with soap and water.
