Nit quite what was expected

Although this looked like an Innovative and great product, my son was uncomfortable using it in his refrigerator because he was afraid the bottles would fall down and break.

The Loft is manufactured with premium high grade neodymium magnet assemblies and high strength genuine 3M very high bond adhesive. We have a Forever Return Policy if he'd like to return them!

Can soda cans work as well as bottles?

Soda cans are typically aluminum and therefore not magnetic.

Our bottles usually sit on the bottom of the fridge, so I'd have to attach these to the glass shelf above; any concerns affixing to glass?

The strips adhere to any spot with heavy-duty peel-and-stick adhesive.

Yes. The box contains 2 magnet strips with 3 magnets each, an instruction sheet, and isopropyl surface cleaning pads.

Are these made for the newer shelves since most are plastic?

Thanks for this question, these are exceptionally powerful magnets. There is actually a video on a popular site where you can see these little dynamos hold a 10 pound weight.

Can the adhesive strips be removed if we decide to use them someplace else? If so, how?

While it is possible to remove the strips, it is a very strong adhesive and would not be easy to remove. We would not recommend this if you're going to be moving regularly as it's unlikely the adhesive would be as strong the second or third time you were to try to use it.
