Born in Canada, raised in Taipei, Linda Wong came to America to get her degrees: Brown for International Relations, and Columbia for an MBA. After business school, she managed accessories for a global brand, and, she says, "saw firsthand how much waste was generated season after season. Growing up in "a frugal Chinese household where very little was wasted," she says, inspired her to "apply the same principles" when she started her own business: "minimal packaging, low overhead, small batch production." When asked what her inspirations are, Linda answers, "I have a thing for Scandinavian chairs...the clean lines and mixed textures. I've even taken some chairs and tried to reimagine them as bags!"
