Lavender Glass Bead Earrings

These glass-bead earrings by artist Andrea Kiernan-Ross blend artistry and inspiration, evoking the serenity of lush lavender fields. Andrea's studio, just down the road from a 20-acre lavender farm, inspires each piece. She handcrafts every bead using lampworking techniques that mimic the delicate lavender buds, resulting in lifelike, glass-blown treasures that capture the essence of these tranquil purple plants.

• The 25,000 plants that thrive at a nearby farm and in the lavender garden that Andrea cultivated at home provide annually blooming inspiration.
• She uses a lampworking technique, where glass is molded in the flame of an oxygen and a propane torch to resemble delicate lavender buds.
• Making each lavender bead is a multiday process and the earrings are finished with an amethyst gemstone.
• Features sterling silver findings with a French hook–style ear wire.
