A love of nature is at the heart of Kate Ackerman’s work. The New York native studied apparel design at the University of Delaware, later pivoting to a career in UX design. In 2016, she formed her own hand-dyed clothing design business, drawing from the colors in nature to inspire her one-of-a-kind pieces. Kate sources handmade, ready-to-dye clothing from India, Ukraine, and China, and only works with natural fibers to help protect the environment. A tree is planted for every order placed.
