“I love the potential of a spoon possibly being a conversation piece.” When Jaimie Cahill looks at an old spoon, she doesn’t see a piece of discarded flatware—she sees a blank canvas. The Illinois-based maker first began stamping spoons in honor of her father, who passed away in 2014. Jaimie decided to continue her unique craft, sourcing vintage spoons from estate sales and antique stores. Some of her favorite moments are at in-person markets, where she can see people’s reactions to her work.
