Carmi and Loly’s shining glass creations
Philippines-based artist Loly Gomez left farming behind in 1972 to open a shop, selling her recycled glass pieces. When her work caught the eye of Chicago designer and entrepreneur Carmi Plaut, an international partnership was born. "The collaboration is so natural and so wonderful," says Loly. "Like family."
