What Makes It Uncommon

  • Stained turquoise blue, the contours are laser cut, recessed one level below the natural maple wood "land."
  • Light brown lines trace the familiar roads, towns, and state lines nearby.
  • The handles and sides are sturdy, handsome cherry wood.
  • Easy to clean: art protected under glass, sealed edges.
  • Laser-cut and hand-assembled in Harbor Springs, Michigan.

When Ashley Wiggins was 8 years old, her parents sold their home in Georgia and moved her and her brother into an RV. They traveled the United States for several years until settling in Michigan, where Ashley’s father set up an art studio. After college, she agreed to temporarily help out with marketing, but she fell in love with the products and process. Since then, Ashley has taken over the family business, which grew from three employees to more than 30, most of whom are longtime friends and classmates.

This is a made-to-order item that ships directly from the maker. If you order today your item will ship no later than 5/6/2025.

Items that are made to order or oversized can't be sent in a Gift Box.
