No one would ever expect what you had actually done to create this beautiful piece of art! It is the best art project for couples! We each chose 2 colors and opted for the black canvas. The kit contents were perfect and the price was perfect! Got to enjoy our 4 year anniversary at a secluded airbnb! I have recommended this to all my gfs. It's the least expensive, funnest activity any couple could love!

Good idea, poor execution
This was such a great idea and we were so excited. Making the canvas was great. However when we went to stretch it the paint flaked off and the paint that remained warped the canvas completely so that even stretching with keys could not remedy some areas of the canvas.

The ingredient list for this maker's specially formulated all-natural, non-toxic paint is proprietary and cannot be shared, but if this helps, it does not include latex and they have never had any customer complaints - due in part to their dedication to making a product that can really work for everyone! It says we can choose 4 colors but when personalizing, it only shows 3. How do we get 4?

Hi Nat! I see you saw the 4 mentioned in old reviews. Our products change over time, in price, items included, sometimes an upgrade to higher quality ingredients, etc. At this time, the company only offers a selection of 3 colors. Apologies for any confusion!

After dry, can the art be rolled back up into case for travel?

Yes, I don't see why not. The paint takes around four hours to dry, depending on thickness. There is a non-absorbent backing on the canvas, which will prevent paint from going all the way through. People typically take it to a local art store to be stretched and framed.

Greetings! There are no preservatives and it's considered water-based, non-toxic. The bottles are sealed and printed with an expiration date on the bottom. Each bottle is supposed to have a 4-year shelf life. I hope this info helps you. Happy Holidays!

I see that you are supposed to take the dry canvass to be professionally stretched & mounted on a frame but can you skip that and just hang it on the wall with nails, thumb tacks, or some other method?
