To create each piece, the artist mails a non-toxic molding kit and instructions and works directly from an impression of your pet's sweet nose to create a one-of-a-kind keepsake in sterling silver. Representing your pet cozily nuzzled up in a special place in your heart, each pendant is finished with an extra personal touch: pieces are engraved on the back with your pet's name (up to 12 characters). Handmade in Pennsylvania.

"One of my favorite parts of creating jewelry is working intimately with my clients to make their visions a reality," says Kaleen Wolfe. Her evolution from jewelry admirer to jewelry artist began with a beading class she took with her mother. Inspired by creating wearable art, she began crafting keepsake jewelry in her Pennsylvania studio. For her son's first Christmas, Kaleen gave custom fingerprint necklaces to her family. Soon, she began receiving requests from friends for their own custom jewelry and she's been creating ever since.

This is a made-to-order item that ships directly from the maker. You will receive a pre-paid shipping label and envelope to mail your completed kit to the artist. An expected ship date for your item will be provided after the artist receives your kit. This item typically ships 5 weeks after the artist receives your kit.

Items that are made to order or oversized can't be sent in a Gift Box. Instead, you can include your Gift Message on the shipment's packing slip. At this time, this item cannot be shipped to APO/FPO addresses, or to U.S. Territories including Minor Outlyling Islands. Contact custom@uncommongoods.com with any questions.

Care

Polish with a dry cotton cloth (avoid tarnish removing cleaner). Avoid exposure to moisture and chemicals. When not being worn, store in the cellophane bag with anti-tarnish square, which are included.
