Born and raised in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, Michelle Moore has always been inspired by nature and what she calls its "perfect imperfections." A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, Michelle now teaches fine art at the State University of New York while also creating original botanical art. She most enjoys working with flowers from her own garden and pursuing a slower, more thoughtful creative process. "Inspiration is all around us," she says. "You just have to be curious enough to see it."
