What Makes It Uncommon

This red enamel cast-iron tortilla press, or "tortilladora," effortlessly crafts perfect, round, thin tortillas every time—even if you're a beginner. Throw a pair of handmade napkins and a trio of habanero sauces into the mix and you've boosted your culinary level of authenticity to this much (arms outstretched as wide as possible). Buen provecho!

  • Simply mix masa corn flour (not included, but easy to find in most grocery stores) with water, form a golf-ball-sized ball of dough, place it in the press, and close it—the weight of the lid does the rest.
  • Open the press, peel off the tortilla, heat it in a pan or skillet, and repeat. No need for added fat! (Recipe varies slightly for wheat tortillas, but the process remains unchanged.)
  • Keep your tortillas warm using two included handmade "servilletas" napkins (colors will vary).
  • Built to last, the 6.5" tortilla press is made from old sewing machines and recycled irons.
  • Comes with three habanero sauce varieties, which are certified kosher, gluten-free, and MSG-free:
