Great Stocking Stuffer
My s/o loves cooking & trying new recipes but sometimes we feel stuck on what to make for dinner. The best part is this was a hint toward my main gift which was all new chef quality spices & seasonings, so now our kitchen has leveled up with that plus this new fun tool to help decide what the next meal shall be!

Very practical, but could be edited
This is great for those nights where you just don't know what to eat for dinner. The instructions were very helpful, as it was confusing why there were so many dice. The only thing is that I wish the die were editable because we do not like some of the veggies we kept rolling, so we created substitutes for them. But now we have to remember what replaces what. #sweepstakes

Fun for Indecisive Chefs
This is a great way to make the usual chore of planning dinner a lot more exciting (or for the indecisive, a lot easier!). Like many people, we're always finding great recipes online and thinking "oh we should make that one day", but when push comes to shove, we can't think of anything to cook for dinner after a long day at work. These dice help spark ideas while making it easier to narrow down what to make, and I was pleasantly surprised with the options and variety on the dice.

Fun way to have creative meals
These are a fun way to get more creative with meal planning even when you're doing it last minute which is how we often work. We rarely eat out/order take-out so weeknight meals can get repetitive and boring. This is an easy way to pull you out of a rut, try new recipes, and get a bit more creative. The only part that would be nice is to be able to choose two or three of your own ingredients. We can't stand mushrooms and a couple of the other items we don't much care for so if we could have changed a few that would have been great.

Have fun with deciding what to eat!
We use this product whenever we are unsure of what to eat/cook for the night - which is more often than not! It just so happens we love games so this was the perfect mix.

Cute and functional
These dice are small and adorable. It's so much fun to roll them and see the combination. My brain immediately starts thinking of creative ways to incorporate each of the ingredients.

Fun way to help plan dinner
Coming up with something to feed the family every night for dinner is exhausting! This takes the pressure off and leaves the decision making up to the dice. A fun way to avoid the never ending question of, "What are we going to eat?"

So simple, so fun
We gave this as a gift for my family who decided to trade "experiences" this year. The recipient rolled the dice and found recipes and we provided the ingredients and helped eat everything. I was skeptical at first because it's seemed like it might just be frivolous but the makers were thoughtful about what they include and it forces you to think outside of your usual boxes. The vegetarian protein and seasonal produce options are a nice touch.

How do the food dice work? How many combinations of dinner ideas?
Verified reply from Alice
Here's how it works: each of the dice offers different elements of a delicious dish, such as cooking method, grain, protein, veg, etc. When you roll them all together, the combination gives you an idea for a healthy and balanced meal. For example, the dice may suggest you (1) braise (2) lamb with (3) rosemary and (4) lemon, and serve it with (5) quinoa and a side of (6) brussels sprouts. Here is a link to see all the options on each die https://www.uncommongoods.com/pdf/25386-00.pdf The total number of possible combinations is 46,656 meals (6 dice with 6 sides each means you have a lot of options.) Bon appétit!
