Dowa has crafted three distinct body types (Gina is the fullest, followed by Bré, then Tolani) to reflect the sensuous reality of women's bodies and to share a message of positivity and inclusion. Each comes in three colors. Sculpted from pure beeswax for its subtle, natural sheen, the designs are expressive pieces for anyone who wants to connect with their inner goddess or simply appreciate the beauty of women. Growing up in a West African home in London, Dowa Doneye was intrigued early on by the shapes and colors of African art. Her own creative journey began with braiding hair and moved on to sewing and eventually to designing original home décor. Now the London-based entrepreneur uses her childhood inspiration to add a new perspective on West African sculpture and crafts. "I see my techniques and creative thinking as a way to expand my heritage," Dowa says, "and have it enjoyed across the world."

Care

Trim wick to 1/4" (7mm) before lighting. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from drafts, pets and children.

Notes

Due to the candle being made with 100% natural beeswax it may gain a subtle coating, to regain the candle shine be sure to gently wipe the candle in a downwards motion with your fingers very lightly and only whilst wearing a latex glove. Exposure to too much of a warm environment will cause the candle to soften and burn faster when lit, for slower burn or firmer candle keep in a cool environment that is at or below room temperature.
