Definitely getting the other plants

Still watching it grow, it's perfect for a small apartment where you can't really have a garden.

Waste of money - Didn't include all materials.

No Grow Medium was included so I can't do it. The label came all messed up as if the bottle had been previously opened. It was ripped and stuck to the top instead around the bottle. Obviously shipped that way from Uncommon Goods. Shoddy.

Response from merchant

Love the style of this herb planter

I love the style of this herb planter. The seeds were fresh and germinated very quickly. Can't wait to start harvesting!

Sprouts turned moldy and died.

Was very excited to receive this. The soil turned moldy right after the seeds sprouted and the sprouts died.

Mold and not the best looking

I got these as a gift and was very excited about them. The basil and cilantro did grow but so did a lot of mold. I tried following the instructions in the packet to get rid of it but it kept growing. The labels on the glass jars are on of the reasons my husband bought them for me since he thought it would be nice to have labels. When I was putting the kits together I look off the labels thinking it was packaging since they are made of cardboard and do not look like they should be permanent. The cilantro also grows hanging down the container making it not the most attractive looking. Overall I would not recommend these.

Dead herbs

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. She loved them and put them together per the instructions that were pretty straight forward. They all looked promising within the first week but then we noticed everything starting to turn black and die. Pretty big let down unfortunately.

Great Product We love it!

This is the perfect gift for someone with a not so green thumb. Directions are fool proof and easy to follow. The herbs are growing great.

Very Easy to Plant

This is the perfect gift for someone with a not so green thumb. Directions are fool proof and easy to follow. The herbs are growing great.

Love it!

Knew my mom would love that and so happy that I stumbled across these! We live in a clinate where the growing season for produce is short and in the winter months, produce is very expensive so these are adorable and perfect for where we live! They were a gift for my mom but will be buying some for myself

How many jars are included? Does replacement liquid always need to be hydroponic medium or is plain filtered water also used?

Verified reply from Allison

Each herb is purchased separately. Dissolve the included ⅛ tsp plant food in 2 ¼ cups water. Pour directly through the net pot when reservoir gets low. Directions are included.

How much sun is required? Would a north facing kitchen window work?

Verified reply from Melody

The herbs should receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. A window that faces south, west, or east would be better options. If your option is a north facing window, you can supplement the sunlight with a grow light.

How tall do the herbs typically grow?

Verified reply from Allison

Approximately 8 inches. However, you can pinch back young plants an inch or so to encourage fuller, bushier plants.

Are refills available for the self-watering kit?

Verified reply from Keny

Thanks for asking! We do have replant kits for the basil selection, which you can add to your cart by selecting it from the drop down list. We also have a replant kit for flower trios there as well.
