Ended up returning

I ended up returning this product. The concept is lovely, and for the most part, it's a cute little item. But I was disappointed in the quality of the books. They are essentially just folded paper...very flimsy with not very many pages. Ultimately the whole thing just felt a little too cheap to be a good gift. #sweepstakes

My kid loved it but much smaller than I imagined

Such a great idea and my 7 year old who loves to draw and create stories was thrilled when she saw this! However, the books are much smaller than I expected for that price.

Very cute

This is super cute and a fun idea, however it's way smaller than I had pictured. The books are teeny and difficult for my 8 year old to write a whole story small enough to fit on the given pages.

This is just precious for a child that loves stories!

This cute little book is perfect for children who love telling their own stories! It allows for them to use their imagination and make up their own stories! This was a perfect gift. I have never seen anything quite like this before!

Wonderful set

This was such a nice set. The little books were smaller than I thought and a heavy paper that pulls out like an accordion. But their small size didn't stop my kids from loving them. They loved that the books came together as their own library. It kept them busy during a nearly 2 hour ferry ride and they were very proud of their work. My son has asked me to order another set.

Despite your explanation, I still can't get the measurements to match with the picture. You said the whole library was "9 x 6 x 1.5 inches". There are 10 books in the set. Each book is 4 x 6 x 2. In the picture, the books are side-by-side on the shelf in the box. At 2" a book, that would be 10" minimum for the interior of the box. The exterior would be larger. Even at 1.97 inches x 10 it still would be 0.7" more than the 9 inches that you said it was. A reviewer (JLB NY) from 1 year ago, wrote that the "heavy paper pulls out like an accordion…" She was the only one who wrote that. Do the pages come out of the binding or was that a defect in her books? Just wondering.
