Photographer, graphic designer, self-taught glass artist—and Novia Scotia native—Rachelle Paul fell in love with glass working while making geometric glass terrariums for her wedding. "There is something so satisfying about putting these simple shapes together to form beautiful sculptures," she says. Rachelle gathers clear glass from old windows and greenhouses near her studio. "There are so many different methods to glass working," she says—which inspires her to keep exploring her craft.

Care

Clean by wiping down with microfiber cloth. Do not use chemicals to clean as this may affect the solder lines. To shine the solder lines – use carnuba wax or a finishing compound for glass. Use a small amount of the wax on a microfiber cloth. Rub on and let dry, then buff off with microfiber towel (not the same area that was used to apply the wax). If hanging in the window with a suction cup – ensure the cup is securely suctioned. Item is made with lead solder. Wash hands after handling.
