What Makes It Uncommon

Remember playing with dough as a kid? Squishing, squeezing, and shaping it into anything your heart—and imagination—desired. This grown-up version lets you relive all that childhood fun and provides adult benefits, such as stress relief and aromatherapy.

  • Created by Cammie and Kip Weeks, the colorful putty was inspired by the kind of art materials therapists use to help patients manage depression, anxiety, and difficult emotions. (Clay play is also used in occupational and physical therapy.)
  • By adding essential oils, Cammie and Kip developed a dough that helps fight the fidgets, ease tension, and brighten your day.
  • Choose from Lavender to promote calmness, Eucalyptus for relaxation, Orange to improve mood, or North Woods Pine, which purportedly supports immune function.
  • Can't choose just one scent? Try the sampler set that features Lavender, Peppermint, and Lemon therapy dough.

It began simply, as all good things do, with the molding dough recipe Cammie's mom made for her as a child. Cammie and Kip wanted to give their kids the opportunity to play, create, and get messy, but they didn't want to have to worry about what's hidden in their art supplies.

So, after incorporating natural ingredients into the recipe, the dough was transformed into eco-dough: Rich in color, soft in texture, and with a delicate aroma like no other. From there, the couple's business evolved.

Place back in jar when not in use; close lid tightly. Add a small amount of vegetable oil and a drop of essential oil to help dough become more pliable if it becomes dry.
