Great little Valentine's ritual for two

I gave this four stars b/c I followed the instructions, but was never sure if I mixed it right. It takes a while for the chocolate (hockey pucks) to melt, and then I used the wooden whisk, but I never got a good froth. Anyway, it tasted wonderful and I do think the clay jug adds to the flavor. If you have a new jug, allow time to cure it first with hot water. Also, I think you should offer a spicier version too. Really great hot chocolate!

Beautiful Red Clay Jug, But Buyer Beware

The red clay jug is stunning, but beware you are not purchasing a set. The chocolate and whisk are sold separately! Be sure to read the product Q and A for more details! It is not mentioned in the product details or shown in the images. Wonderful idea, but would be better to have an option at a higher price that includes everything as a true set.

Traditionally this jug is used over an open flame. It would probably be okay as it is designed to withstand heat on all surfaces, though given the rough bottom of ceramics, it could scratch your stove top. To be safe, use a frying pan or something similar to diffuse and protect the glass cook top.
