Adorable and very well-made!

These were the perfect gift for my mom - She's recently gotten into sprouting plants from avocado pits, and these sprouted make it a breeze, while looking adorable to boot!

Cute for plant lovers

I always and I mean always attempt to grow avocado trees from pits after eating. I am all about saving time and this is a lot easier than the toothpick method that I'm used to and also more sustainable. Plus, avocado seeds/pits can be super finnicky; and so, finding something that I can just keep reusing without having to finagle toothpicks into at the right angle while looking beautiful is perfect. I would say that I don't know if it is the size of the avocado pits I'm using or the diameter of the glass I have the sprouter sitting on top of, but the pits don't end up sitting in a lot of water, maybe like 5 mm. I was hoping they would be a little more submerged. I'm interested to see how they do and if they'll sprout. That would be my only suggestion is to make the opening of the hole a little bigger, but maybe with trial and error I will get it how I want it.

I'm all organic, and want to grow my own avocado....looking

Fun and Fabulous gift!

I love that there are 2 spouters included so that we can have fun sharing and comparing the results as the avocado seeds grow!

Avocado Tree Sprouter

It's huge and can't wait to start growing!

Unique, Farm To Table Idea For Healthy Living!

I love the idea of growing from seed my very own avocado plant in my kitchen window. It takes me back to when I was a child and my italian grandparents (who were avid "greenthumber" yard gardeners would grown their own avocado plants/trees from seed. A great way to connect ones old memories to make new ones... My husband and I love waking every morning to see what stage our avocado plant is in -- we keep them on our kitchen window sill... A great gift idea for oneself or to those you love and care about....

Looks great in my yard

Only have it for two weeks and the jury is still out on how it works

I'll Definitely Be Back!

Can be used in various settings, e.g., indoors, outdoors, kitchen counter, living room, etc.

I would buy again, and as a gift to others

I live in CO so will attempt to grow indoors due to weather conditions don't support avocado trees

Is it as easy as just placing an avocado pit on it or, do you need to do anything to the pit like making a cut?

The simple answer is no! Place the pit in the holder to sit just above the water. Put the glass in a warm place out of direct sunlight and replenish water as needed. You should see the roots and stem start to sprout in about two to six weeks.
