These really are very cool and I think they would look good with almost all last names with 5-9 letters. Gave to my recently married BiL and sister and they really liked it. Also, uncommon goods handled the order very well. My first package went missing, I suspect perhaps stolen or left at the wrong building in my large complex. (Of course the landlord was no help.) I reached out and they sent a replacement promptly.

A unique idea - out of the ordinary. Two of the four looked rather similar in design, but were still appreciated. I wonder what wood this is, and what the best long-term storage would be, to keep the wood from becoming fragile. Or should I apply wood oil? It would be helpful for the description to include the type of wood used.

I can't find anything that says minimum or maximum number of letters for the name. Can this be done with a name that is only 2 letters?

Great question! There is no minimum for names. However, the final artwork will have a relatively large center opening compared to longer names.

The plywood is about 1/4" thick & 12 grams give or take. Size and weight all depend on the name length.
