Too Heavy

I bought this backpack as a birthday present to myself : )) I kept a watch on this product for a long time, hoping to see reviews get posted. I also waited because I was hesitant to pay a relatively high price point for a backpack that I planned to only occasionally use. Sadly, I returned it. When I first picked up the delivery box it came in, I was in shock by how much it weighed. I was trying to stay positive, and hoped that it was some strange packaging that was weighing it down. The chair works of course, and yes, I love the convenience of setting it up. Unfortunately, I couldn't get over how much it weighed. I really wanted to keep it, but the weight of this backpack - even when empty - is heavier than my typical filled 'picnic' backpack. I have a light collapsible camping chair that fits in my backpack, but it's a little more work to set up and pack up. Maybe if the price point was lower, I would have been more willing to live with the weight.
