There are imaginative folks who put their own stamp on everything they do. For every creative customizer (including you), this live virtual class with crafter Jill Dunn introduces a unique way to make it personal with original stamps that you’ll carve yourself.
- Jill will first teach you to make your own stamping tools out of rubber, a process known as lino (LY-no) cutting.
- Next, she’ll demonstrate how to use the four different blades to create botanical shapes (or your own designs), and then give you time to practice your carving.
- Finally, you’ll ink your stamps and experiment with application techniques to create patterns that can be elegantly minimalist, lavishly embellished, or whatever your imagination dreams up.
- By the end of class, you’ll have the inspiration and know-how to be a DIY designer of greeting cards, wrapping paper, printed fabrics, and custom gifts for friends and family.
