This was wack

I loved the concept of listening to new artists but the songs were lack luster and unoriginal. Even the renditions of the songs were boring. The production of the songs were basic and uninspired. This was not at all what I was expecting at all based off of the product description.

I can in no way recommend this item

Great concept, BUT! In order to listen you have to give your email and a credit card you can then listen free for five days. At that time, if you don't cancel, you will be a charged a fee! This speaks of a "Shady Deal" and is not the type of product I have experienced in the past. I desire a refund.

Very boring renditions

I agree with many of the other reviews. My bf and I were super excited about this concept but almost all of the songs were slow serious versions of Christmas classics. Like one other reviewer said, it says a lot when Feliz Navidad becomes boring. Great concept poor execution.

Great Unique Advent Calendar

I gave this as a morning experience advent calendar with a coffee and chocolate one as well. My husband loved it! There were maybe 2-3 songs he didn't like, but overall the songs were more beautiful, classic style Christmas songs, not pop versions. Overall highly recommend!

2 stars for effort

I purchased this for my boyfriend because he loves Christmas music and listening to new artists. Unfortunately, he hasn't enjoyed any of the music so far. He said that it may be due to us having certain expectations because we've listened to these songs year after year. I do not recommend this product.

Pretty Packaging…so so song renditions

Very clever packaging and concept however, the song renditions are mostly slow piano club versions. We were disappointed in the lack music variation and tempo of 8 out of 8 of the days we listened to so far.

I would not buy this product again without improvement.

I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur of Christmas music with my collection and I know for a fact I could put together a better collection than this for a more enjoyable experience. I just wish whoever put this together had tried a bit harder. Maybe it was about licensing. But either way it could have been better.

I would not recommend that UG feature this product

I was hoping to get to know some new indie artists with this adorable Advent calendar, but after listening for the first 6 days, very few artist names are shown--just song names. Makes it hard to get to know new indie artists without their names? Also, about half of the songs are only a minute long--just one verse of a Christmas carol. What's up with that? I bought one for myself and my sister and we are both disappointed. It's in the trash now. UG usually has such great items, but this one was a fail.

So, so boring

This advent calendar is great in theory. My 18 year old daughter was thrilled when I gave it to her. We all quickly have lost interest 5 days in. The songs are SOOOOO slow and boring. I get it. These are traditional Christmas songs, but let's shake it up a bit. They even found a way to make Feliz Navidad boring (and only 1 min long). We were also disappointed to find these songs were not something we could easily create a playlist on with Spotify or other music streaming app. It ended up not mattering anyway because we haven't found one we remotely care to listen to again yet.

Hello! You'll be given a code which allows the song to be downloaded a maximum of 5 times, but there is no expiration.

How are the songs served? What will the QR code link to? Is it a download link or Spotify link? With a limit of 5 downloads, is that only for downloads? Can it be listened to unlimited times?

Hello! The QR code takes you to a link to download the song. If you have an iOS device, you'll be able to stream it instead. Whether you download or stream, you'll first have to enter the code, and that code can only be entered up to 5 times.
