Luck of The Gnome Garden Sculpture

Michael McNeil grew up in a small town in Ontario, Canada, where he still lives with his wife and two daughters. As a child, he and his friends would often keep themselves busy by building structures or artwork out of metal, wood, plastic–or whatever else they could get their hands on.

Knowing he wanted to be self-employed after college, Michael decided that creating and selling art was his best option. After rummaging through various salvage yards, he came across metal cutouts from old bus rims and realized he’d found the perfect medium. After years of using only bus rims, he expanded his material selection to include many different types of metal. Now he’s running a full-fledged business, with a small team of metal artists who work together to design and create metal art products.
