One of the happiest times in maker Miriam Quagliato’s life was living on a farm in the Midwest, listening to the chorus of frogs in springtime. Inspired by these joyful memories, she handmakes every one of her darling copper frog earrings. Regarded as symbols of good fortune and transformation, these colorful hoppers are your newest every-day lucky charms.

  • The color on each copper frog is produced by Miriam applying flames of varying degrees and torches to the metal, a process she’s developed through a decade of experience.
  • Stainless steel ear wires.
  • Handmade in Colorado.

Growing up with a parent in the military, Miriam Quagliato spent her childhood moving all over the lower 48 states, which infused her with a spirit of wanderlust. After moving into an RV to travel the country, she met an artist in the Ozarks who created a copper flame painting process that produced vibrant colors. Once Miriam finished her apprenticeship, she started making jewelry and other small pieces, selling them throughout her journeys at shows, state fairs, and even roadside markets.
