Great, but overpriced.

We use paper bags for our recycling and I was always looking for something like this. Good quality, only docked a star because it does feel overpriced.

Crazy Expensive, but Clever

Again, as I've mentioned, price aside, there's no easy or clear-cut way to deal with the paper handles so the bag is open and one can easily drop recycling in there. Are we supposed to pull them through the handles, over and around them, or not at all? Paper bags, by their nature, don't stay open and if you're dropping things you wish to recycle in this bin, you really want the bag open completely and not have to spend time folding and flattening it out. It feels half-conceived. Like they had the idea, cast it entirely in plastic, and then just walked away.

Great recycle "bin"!

This is JUST what I was looking for as my paper recycling bag sits at the entrance of my home (for convenience and space constraints - usually it 'lived" inside the pantry but in my new home that's not possible)--- I hated seeing how ugly that looked and when we had guests, we would have to shove it in a closet to hide it -- with this beautiful addition it's almost like part of the decor - the fact that it's hard plastic is great, as it holds its shape and the contents are safely ensconced in it. It is pricey but it was a treat I couldn't refuse myself.

Quality product!

I wanted a simple, stylish recycling bin for my kitchen area. This meets all of my needs and I love how you can stick a paper bag in it so when it's full it's an easy empty. My only complaint would be that it was $70+, but I will say it was the only product I could find that met exactly what I was looking for. Worth the money for me!

Does the trick

I bought this because I was tired of having a tilting paper bag underfoot at my desk. This recycling bin keeps the bag upright and looks a whole lot nicer. It's sturdy and well made, but it was a bit pricy. I'm glad I got it!

It's in the bag

It made the sad,saggy brown recycling bag stand tall & proud next to the cool trash can. Knowing that now people would see and use more it to help save the planet. Dare I say, it seemed to smirk at the trash can as it seemed to feel it was just a tad cooler & did a more important job.

Perfect for storing bags in back hallway

For years I had grocery bags in piles in the back hall. With a house remodel, I wanted something attractive that would keep paper bags organized and upright. This is perfect and looks great.

Hi I'm not thinking if this for recycling but taking to the gyicery store as either putting my brown paper bag in it so it doesn't rip with heavy items etc! I've other recycling bags, cold pack bags but in getting away from the dreaded plastic putting bottles of OJ,tea, half a gallon of milk the people who bag groceries over stuff causing bags to rip! So was wondering if anymore uses these for the purpose of grocery shopping? So when one gets home ya lift out the paper bag store in ones trunk! Which could be handy storage there too? Thsnks!

Thanks for your question! That's a creative idea. If you do use it for grocery needs, you would have to carry the bin like a box as the handles won't be able to go together like a real bag.

Can this be put in a suitcase to travel after being gifted for Christmas?

Yes, it will fit inside the maximum size for a carry on suitcase (9" W x 14" L x 22" H). So you just need to make sure what size your suitcase is and compare it to the dimensions of the Recycling Bin (13.5" L x 8.66" W x 17.44" H).

stays upright ok, but can it also function as a bag in it's own right ? are the creases just for show. can I carry loose papers to recycle and when full, bring handles together and carry like a regular bag(with one hand) to dump into a bin in another part of the building?

The creases are for show, and you would not be able to carry it in that way - it's really more like a box than a bag.

The height to the top of the handles is 17.5", and to the top of the bag it's 15".
