Turn your walkway into a little piece of paradise with this artful solar house sign. By day, it soaks up the sun. At night, it gets to work: Lighting your way after a long day, or welcoming guests to one of your well-loved dinner parties. Chris Crooks crafts each one from sturdy steel, incorporating a bright solar LED light that can also be plugged in for a charge. Choose from three designs (beach, lake, or grass and fireflies) and three hand-painted, weather-resistant colors (rust, green, or white). Energy-efficient and enchanting? That's our kinda design. Includes three stakes so it stays put. Handmade in Tucson, Arizona. Solar light made in China.

“I started out from my garage. As the business grew, and my wife’s and neighbors' patience stretched, it was time to move to an industrial space. There I can bang and grind at all hours of the night. It's 1,000 square feet of pure metalworking nirvana.”

Chris Crooks took a winding road to get to where he is now—creating imaginative lawn sculptures inspired by the Southwest landscape he calls home. After graduating from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Chris worked in advertising, then ran a printing business with his wife, while painting during his free time. It was when the couple moved to Tucson that Chris collaborated with a metal art manufacturer and fell in love with the art form. He now designs and creates sculptures in his studio at the foot of the Santa Rita Mountains. "I always wanted to make a living doing something genuinely enjoyable," he says. "To get up in the morning raring to go, and never having enough time to do everything you want to do."

This is a made-to-order item that ships directly from the maker. If you order today your item will ship no later than 4/22/2025.

Items that are made to order or oversized can't be sent in a Gift Box. Care

Allow your solar light to charge at least 8 hours under direct sunlight. On a full charge, your solar light will stay illuminated for 6 hours. Use the switch to turn your solar light on or off. Your solar light will automatically illuminate in darkness.

As of September 2020, the included solar light has been upgraded to ensure consistent performance.
