Cool product, not 100% sure it works or if it's a placebo
This is pretty neat! I work in a hospital so I am always bringing home germs. I'm not 100% sure it really works or if my mind is just tricking me to believe it is cleaner ( still smudges on the phone after I remove it).

I would buy this product again and again
This product is great, especially during the pandemic. I got this for my sister, who is a bit of a germaphobe, and it is perfect for her!

Great product!
We use it about once a week to clean our electronic devices. It works great. Only con is that it leaves the phone/device with a slight smell after, but it goes away quickly. Highly recommend!

yes
Both of my sons use this item when they return from work. One is in the food industry and the other is a plumber. Both professions expose their phones to many germs so this has been a very efficient and successful way to remove those hazards.

Does the product use UV-C light?
Verified reply from Allison
Yes! UV-C light is a short-wavelength, ultraviolet light that breaks apart germ DNA, leaving it unable to function or reproduce. In other words, UV-C light is germicidal (UV-A and UV-B light are not).

Why is there a warning that this product may contain chemicals including lead? Is exposure to this device and its UV rays potentially a health risk?
Verified reply from Allison
Thanks for your patience! PhoneSoap states 'While this unit does contain lead, the design of the device ensures that it is fully safe under regulations from the EPA and FDA."

What does this statement mean "It can power up to four full phone charges, or 45 sanitizing cycles." ...is there 45 sanitizing cycles and that's it? What happens after 45 sanitizing cycles?
Verified reply from Cassandre
The PhoneSoap On-The-Go has a built-in rechargeable battery for sanitization and charging on the go. and that device can power up to 4 full phone charges or 45 sanitizing cycles before it needs to be recharged/plugged in.

How do I know if my phone is clean after sanitizing it? Because after it finishes sanitizing (of course with the machine plugged in), my phone looks the same as before I put it in, so I'm not sure if it how it works?
Verified reply from Amy
Lots of scientific tests have been run by the PhoneSoap team to prove that it kills bacteria! You may find this video that shows some lab testing to be enlightening: https://fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/gjxzt6skn4?videoFoam=true

How do I charge the On-The-Go? Can it charge non-iPhones too?

If an IPhone 6s measurement is 5.44"x2.64"x.28"-then why does this NOT fit that particular phone?
Verified reply from Amy
Hi Pat! The restriction for the iPhone 6s is not about size - it is that it cannot be used for the *wireless* PhoneSoap, as the Wireless PhoneSoap needs to be used with phones compatible with Qi Wireless Charging capabilities. The iPhone 6s will work in the Standard and On-The-Go, as with those, you use the cable you already have to charge the device.

What is the difference between the on-the-go and wireless versions?
Verified reply from Amy
PhoneSoap On-the-Go has a built-in rechargeable battery so you can sanitize and charge anywhere, anytime. It can power up to four full phone charges, or 45 sanitizing cycles. PhoneSoap Wireless has built-in charging for Qi-compatible phones, so there’s no need to untangle any clumsy cables. Just put your phone inside to sanitize and charge it all at once.
