E. Frances

Massachusetts-based artist E. Frances always had a passion for design. Formally trained as a fine-arts painter and fashion illustrator, she spent years as a graphic designer, then pivoted to painting and illustrating her own work, with pencil and watercolor as her preferred tools. “Watercolor has a mind of its own—you get to watch and see the paint come alive,” she says. E. Frances works with her sister and cousin to brainstorm and sketch new ideas, creating prints that “make people feel good.”
