Consider Nancy Nelson a nature talent scout. "I usually discover the items I cast not too far from home," she says of the woods surrounding her Maryland studio. "Once I find that perfect object with beautiful shapes and texture, I figure out how I can transform it into a chic piece."

Her passion for working with metals emerged while obtaining her BFA in industrial design. After enrolling in a metalsmithing class where she made her first sterling silver ring, she was hooked and continued developing her own unique style. Modern shapes and rustic forms reflect her belief that jewelry should evoke an emotion and tell a story for every wearer.
