Julie Pedersen's switch from advertising to running a tea and spice company has been rewording on many levels. ?I once had a person tell me that when they opened up a chai kit, the aroma reminded them so much of the chai they used to drink in India that it brought tears to their eyes,? she says. Perfect gift for my sourdough bread baker
My step-son, who loves to bake sourdough (you know, that COVID-craze!), was overjoyed by this simple gift. He's been making Sourdough for years and now has the opportunity to test out different spices and flavorings, and he's super excited about it!

Nice selection, outer tin will cut your fingers
The selection of spices in nice. My wife loved it for her bread making. However, the tin is sharper than some of our kitchen knives. Every time I open it or try to pick it up, I feel like I'm going to slice open my finger. Maybe it's a manufacturing problem, but my edges are too sharp that I have to keep this out of reach form the kids. Again though, great spice selection! Just handle with care.

That’s understandably concerning, especially with kids around, and not something you should have to worry about. We haven’t seen any trends in defects or damages with this item. Great for the Bread Baker in your life
I gave this to my bread baking friend and she loved it. It was packaged beautifully for a gift. I loved the instructions included telling you when to add the spices. I didn't know there were different times in the bread making process to add different spices. My friend commented on how good the spices smelled. She is very excited to experiment with the different spices.

I'm sure my mom would have loved jt
I was really looking forward to basing this gift around what else I got my mother for Christmas. It was back ordered and then I got an email/text saying it was back in stock for Christmas so I jumped at it. I was sent an empty box. I was able to talk to customer service and send it proof of my empty box but now that the item is on back order until February… looks like my gift is going to be lacking. This was my first time ordering from this company after looking at it for years.

You can use olive oil, an egg wash, or butter brushed on the loaf to help the seasonings stick better.
