A fun gift!
I ordered four of boxes and gave them to our adult children with fake money inside that they could exchange for real cash once opened ……. To make it more interesting they also got a gift for closing the box back up - which believe it or not —it took a little longer than opening it.

Make a gift card 10 times more interesting!
When a kid, tween, or teen (or an adultish person with youthful curiosity) asks for a gift card for a special occasion, it can feel somewhat impersonal or less exciting to provide. But this puzzle box makes the gifting more fun and memorable. We found a way to put a gift card *and* Pokémon cards inside this puzzle box, and my tween-aged nephew had fun trying to figure out how to open it by looking carefully at the slots and grooves. The price point and quality of the box are well-balanced; I think I'll order another one and make it a tradition with my nephew. While it took him less than 5 minutes to solve the puzzle, that extra engagement made for a much more fun experience of giving and receiving in an age where gifting can feel simply transactional.

I would definitely buy this puzzle box again!
It is made well, stumped a teen and older adult for a decent amount of time. Can be used again by the recipient to also challenge others for a gift card, money or handmade coupons for a gift later on in the year. I actually hope to see more of these with different puzzle solving skills needed. I will purchase again.

A great way to "wrap" gift cards!
I purchased two of these puzzle boxes - one for my daughter and one for my granddaughter. They contained gift cards to their favorite store. I was worried the boxes might be frustrating for Christmas morning. ( the boxes do not come with instructions on solving the mystery. My daughter solved the puzzle first and had to give hints to my teenage granddaughter, who succeeded a few minutes later. Both enjoyed the boxes.
